Cat Sitting

I can also look after fish and other small animals including hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens and rabbits
 

 

- I will visit your pets (as many visits as requested) and ensure that they are fed and supplied with fresh water daily.

- All litter will be cleaned and changed as per your normal routine.
- I will administer medication free of charge 
- Your pet will receive love and attention and lots of play time!
- You will receive complimentary texts so you know how your furry feline is doing while you're away.
- I offer an introductory visit to discuss yours and your pets requirements.
- I will also water plants, close curtains, switch lights on and off, collect post to give your home a more 'lived in' look whilst you're away.

I cover a 8 mile radius from Braintree CM77 8 if you are outside this radius it is a extra 50p a mile per visit each way.

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required when you book.

  • Payment is due on or before date of sitting.

  • Payment can be made either by cash or online banking

  • Client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of S Green Cat Sitting and an additional charge of £20 will be added to invoice for any veterinary trips made by for your pet during their cat sit.

  • Please ensure enough pet food, litter and medication (if required) is provided for the length of the cat sit. If food or litter supplies run out during the stay a receipt for payment of products plus a fuel charge will be added to the original invoice and will be payable on return.

  • The decision as to whether the clients pet is permitted to go outside during the length of the cat sit is the responsibility of the client alone and S Green Cat Sitting cannot be held liable for any disappearance, injuries or death.

  • I will not be held liable for any illnesses or injuries your pet may suffer whilst using our services, nor the death of a pet.

  • I cannot be held responsible for any damages, loss or theft in your home.

  • Bank Holidays will be charged at an extra 50% on top of our normal rates; Christmas and New Year Bank Holidays are charged at double our normal rates.

  • Photographs will be taken of your pet during their cat sit. By signing you give your consent to these photos being used on my website and Facebook. 

  • Should a client arrive home early the cat sitter must be informed. No refund or part refund will be available.

Today I returned home from a lovely family holiday, I normally get really anxious about going away and leaving blue and my home this was my first time ever actually hiring a cat sitter . I would normally have one of my family but we all went away so I needed to find someone, I found Sarah on the web quite a while back out of all the different websites I looked at Sarah's one made me feel most comfortable she was the exact person I was looking for. Sarah has been doing blues claws for me for a quite a while now and he loves her! As I arrived on holiday I checked my messages and I had some lovely photos of blue sent and an update he was fine , regular updates on holiday made me feel at ease and I actually got to relax on my holiday which I can't thank you enough for. When we got home today my blue was his normal self just so happy and chilled meowed a bit to say where have you been !! My home was kept so clean and tidy ! Thank you for looking after Milo and Ty at the last minute! I love getting pictures of them while I'm away. They're scared of their own shadow so having someone come and see them who's patient and a cat person really puts me at ease

As their owner you immediately put my mind at rest when I saw how quickly the more timid of the two took to you and allowed you to cuddle him. I am very glad to have found Sarah and would have no hesitation in recommending her as a cat sitter  She looked after both my cats and the house extremely well whilst we were away and it is comforting to know they can stay in their own home now.

Sarah has looked after our 6 cats on 2 occasions when we went on our holidays. On both occasions we returned from our holiday to find all of the cats happy and relaxed. Sarah managed their special diets without any problems and understands how to approach deaf cats (3 of them are deaf). We will trust Sarah to look after our cat family for future holidays and we can thoroughly recommend her to look after your cats too!

 

We had Sarah come and look after our three cats, Tilly, Tara and Charlie in February 2015. I honestly could not recommend Sarah enough. Sarah is professional, absolutely trust worthy and it is obvious how much she loves cats! The cats were so well looked after – even Tara who can be a little timid. We love it that they can stay in their own home and be well cared for by Sarah. I would definitely recommend using Sarah and the other services she offers (Sarah also comes and clips their claws for them!) I would not hesitate in using Sarah again, in fact we have a booking over Easter! Tilly, Tara and Charlie were also very grateful for their “goodie bag”, they especially loved the treats!

Hi Sarah Thank you so much for taking care of our 100+ tropical fish, 14 rabbits, 3 cats and 2 house plants! All have thrived and flourished and grown since we left a week ago. We first met Sarah when she was looking after our two Burmese in a lovely cattery which unfortunately closed. Although our little boy is quite outward going the little girl is quite nervous and turned into a little ‘hisssy miss’ when we took her there. We have just completed our first, week long holiday with them being looked after by Sarah at home, and what a difference; no worrying about getting them to the cattery the day before and feeling guilty, no frustration that we were going to get to the cattery half an hour after it closed so we couldn’t get them until the next day. We came home to two very happy kitties, although I’m sure they must have missed us a little, they were in their own home, so they knew they were safe. The house was tidy, just as we left it, the bins had been put out and collected back in. Purrfect! So we have now placed two more firm holiday bookings, this really is the way forward…..

Thanks Sarah for looking after my four cats. I hate leaving them alone. When I returned home they looked happy and not stressed as they usually get when left with a friend just to pop in a feed them. They tend not to clean the litter tray leading to little accidents around the house. No accidents this time. A nice clean house with no cat wee smells. Sarah, I have come home to one happy cat, thank you. She was pleased to see me, and has even sat on my lap several times, and laid by my side, she has not done this before. So you have worked some magic! She was pleased to go out, but for shorter intervals, coming back in for a snooze, and a stroke, perhaps to make sure I am still here, not sure if that is the way cats think.Thanks again, will be in touch for next year.

 

Thank you so much for looking after Tilly and Noisy while we were away. When we returned from our trip and came in the door, they almost looked disappointed that it was not you!  Usually they alternate between sulking and going crazy after we have left them at the cattery, but both were relaxed and happy, having had no disruption to their normal daily routine or surroundings.  I can't recommend you enough - just loved the text to let me know everything was OK at home.  You are so thoughtful and caring.  Tilly and Noisy obviously think so too!

Thank you for looking after me when my family went away for the weekend.  I don't like car journeys or staying in a cattery since I lost my eye sight.  You were a perfect friend, and even left me a yummy goody bag and a noisy toy ball to play with. Sarah is fantastic. She has been looking after our old boys for a few years now. They both love her and are always very well looked after. Unfortunately we have lost one of our boys this year, but her connection with our other old boy has meant we have not worried at all about leaving him. Cats are intelligent animals and know what and who they like! My boys love Sarah!

We have been using Sarah since 2015 and it's the best thing we have ever done. Previously they have always gone into a Cattery which they hated - who wants to be locked up in a cage for weeks on end!! With Sarah they are in their own home with their own things around them, they don't get stressed and when we return I normally find them fast asleep on our bed with not a care in the world!!

 

I have two 'senior' boys. Both set in their ways and very firm ideas of being at home and not in a cattery. Having them cared for at home, where they are happy, means I am happy and can enjoy the trip. Getting photos of them helps the separation anxiety I get (they don't care, so long as they are fed and warm). Also the added bonus of knowing the home is being checked twice a day. I have been nothing but happy with the care my boys are given. Best decision I made.

 

5 stars from us, Kizzy was well looked after and so relaxed when we returned from hols, Kizzy can be a little moody and a real little madam! but Sarah saw through that, we would not hesitate to recommend Sarah, and already booked her again.! x

What an excellent service Sarah provides - looking after your cats in their home where they can stay calm and relaxed! We have two indoor cats and Sarah looks after them regularly now when we are away for a couple of nights or longer. She meets with you and your cats before you head off and is a real professional gathering information about your pets before she looks after them. We have 2 cats who love to be outdoors and we just hated leaving them in a cattery! Sarah provided us with the perfect solution, and total peace of mind that we would come back to two contented cats!  We did and she looked after our 12 chickens and the Ginea pig as well.The added benefit was knowing that the house was visited every day and the mailbox emptied. She was very professional and our animals obviuosly well cared for.  We will certainly use her again and recommend her highly.

Sarah has been looking after my 12 year old ginger boy Buster for about a year and she is always very flexible about visits - even at short notice.  Sarah is always contactable on her mobile and has been 100% reliable from day one.  I am confident that if I am going to be away from home she will say she can come over to give Buster some company and TLC.I have no qualms about Sarah's integrity and the house is always left secure and as I left it.  Buster is always relaxed and happy when I have been away and Sarah has looked after him. If you have pet sitting needs, I can recommend Sarah - she won't let you down.
